These Boots Are Made For Walking - Nancy Sinatra

These Boots Are Made for Walkin' è un brano musicale composto da Lee Hazlewood e registrato da Nancy Sinatra nel febbraio del 1966. 

Riscosse da subito un grande successo soprattutto negli Stati Uniti d'America, le cui truppe la adottarono come canto durante le marce durante la guerra del Vietnam. La stessa Nancy Sinatra si recò in Vietnam per esibirsi di fronte ai soldati.

Se ne sono fatte moltissime cover da parte di cantanti, attori e gruppi musicali vari. Tra gli italiani ricordiamo la versione del brano ad opera dei Planet Funk, per la colonna sonora del film La kryptonite nella borsa.

La cover che ha avuto recentemente maggiore successo, é quella di Jessica Simpson.  

A nostro avviso non c'é paragone, Nancy Sinatra tutta la vita. Dispiace che a quest'ultima versione di Jessica abbia partecipato il grandissimo Willie Nelson.
